About the author: Paul Stouten
Dr. ir. Paul Stouten is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, where he is specialised in urban regeneration strategies, urban planning and socio-spatial processes. Dr. Stouten has served as an advisor to various municipalities in the Netherlands on the issue of social sustainability, urban renewal and housing strategies. He has investigated urban renewal and housing strategies in Rotterdam since the seventies.
